We offer the best left and right handed cutting workshops available, which includes the use of our premium scissor kits. This course is designed to help you get the best out of your scissors, and be inspired by what they can really do. 

Develop techniques which enable you to cut in comfort, reduce the strain on your hand, arm and back and cut hair in a more efficient way. With years of experience in both scissor manufacturing and hairdressing, the knowledge provided in this course will benefit beginners and experienced cutters alike.  

All courses are conducted by our Technical Coach, Sue Edwards. Whether it be a workshop at our training centre, a one-on-one session in our showroom or in-salon training, this course is a must do for all hairdressers.

Once you have completed our Scissor Edge-ucation workshop, we also run a series of specialised cutting courses. These workshops are designed for Hair Cutters to hone their skills in specific areas of cutting. There are 3 two hour intensive workshops to choose from

Blunt and Serrated Cutting

This course covers all aspects of blunt cutting, chipping, scissor over comb, barbering

Slicing and Sliding

This course covers all aspects of vertical slicing, sliding,scooping,chinning, under slicing and pecking

Thinning and Texturising 

This course covers all aspects of vertical thinning, radial thinning, weight removal and chunky texturising
